Interactive media facade of the St. Pauli Klubhaus

Hamburg 2015

Since its opening in September 2015, the approx. 1000 m² media facade of the St. Pauli Klubhaus at the Spielbudenplatz has been one of the highlights of Hamburg’s notorious Reeperbahn.

The slats of the facade, developed under the direction of Intermediate Engineering, allow video content to be displayed without disturbing residents “in second row” by light emission. Including all light and image-providing elements as well as an interactive elevator, the entire building becomes a homogeneous and consistent advertising space.

A content management system, also developed by Intermediate Engineering, enables the organisation and logging of all media content.

Intermediate Engineering accompanied the Klubhaus St. Pauli through all phases of the new building.
