Digital experiences that connect – Our Intermedia Prism in Berlin

When innovation meets architecture, something remarkable happens. The project "BER01 George-Stephenson-Straße" envisioned the seamless integration of digital communication into the building’s design. The vision was not to have isolated information points, but rather dynamic, interconnected experience spaces.

Together, we refined this concept and developed an intelligent, networked digital signage system that controls content in a dynamic, smart, and forward-thinking way. This is how we created the product, Intermedia Prism.

Through close collaboration and a shared vision of thinking innovatively and beyond conventional boundaries, we identified various communication spaces and connected them in a smart, efficient way:

• In the cafeteria = menu display
• In the corporate area = employee information
• Look and feel = art, design and staging
• At the reception/customer area = customer journey

What began with isolated screens and stand alone solutions, evolved into a comprehensive, streamlined system which we then integrated into an intuitive user interface. This made it possible to deliver content dynamically, with flexible timing and perfectly tailored to the right moment.

With Intermedia Prism, we seamlessly connected to the existing in-house web information system, enabling the effortless integration and continued use of existing content and established workflow.

Across four distinct building sections, Intermedia Prism manages content on 125 displays spread across 13 floors, ensuring that every message reaches its intended audience.

Through an AV over IP network, media and live videos are distributed in real time from internal events to company wide communication across locations.

The result? Intermedia Prism creates a digital ecosystem that not only informs, but also inspires, offering an intelligent and seamless experience as people navigate through the building. It is an environment where communication is intuitive, flexible, and instantly accessible. Plus, it is a solution that evolves with the company starting with the now and growing towards the future and beyond.
